I'm a data freak. I have over 10TB of sensitive data for work, school, and hobbies. Most importantly, I have a minimum of 1 complete backup for each drive. They were all 3.5" and took up lots of space. Now I'm replacing every external backup wit a Samsung 2.5" 1TB and this AKiTiO SK-2500 800+. Has all of the important ports that matter: USB for viewing and minor file edits, Firewire for cloning, large copying, and fast writing.. Only thing missing is a thunderbolt port, but the size and portability makes up for that. This enclosure hugs your drive while giving it just enough room to breathe. My drives look like little black ninjas, and increase my shelf space by over 60% compared to 3.5" bare drives.
