[MyCloud] I'm using the MAC address for login. Can I change it to a different name?

The MAC address will always be the default login and it's not possible to change it but you can register a new name for your device that is easier to remember. For more details, see Preferences > Portal Server on our Wiki.

As of August 31, 2019, registering a device name is no longer supported.
