[MyCloud] Why can I not register a new name for my device?

It's possible that the name you have selected is already taken. Please type in a new name and then try again.

The name can only contain English letters and numbers. Special characters and spaces are not accepted.

As of August 31, 2019, registering a device name is no longer supported.
