[Thunder2 Quad] Does the fan adjust its speed according to the temperature?

No, the fan in the AKiTiO Thunder2 Quad uses a constant speed at about 1900RPM. It turns ON when the power is ON and the device is connected to the computer. The fan spins down when the computer goes into sleep mode and the drives spin down or when the Thunderbolt cable is disconnected and the device is turned OFF.
